“It’s clear to me this is the same party, filled with extremists,” said Sturko. "Voters deserve to know exactly what those conversations are about.”
Your move, BCC.

Leadership is about choices. Doerkson chose to put Heather Maahs on the ballot, and then to do nothing when challenged repeatedly about her views.
It’s clear the people who attack 2SLGBTQ people and would restrict abortion run his party under his watch.
That’s not leadership.
Interim B.C. Conservative Leader Lorne Doerkson says while he doesn’t share the views expressed by the party’s candidate for Chilliwack North on LGBT issues or abortion, she will be allowed to run under the party’s banner.
And here is the crux of the dishonesty of the @Conservative_BC campaign. Yes, Lorne Doerksen is a nice guy. But he is an interim leader who cannot become permanent leader of the Conservatives b/c their constitution won’t allow it.
He’s asking BCers for a blank cheque for more Conservative leadership chaos.
This is not what we need at this moment.
This bill is essential to protecting students and teachers from harassment and ensuring our kids feel safe and welcomed in schools.
The B.C. Conservatives continue to show that they’re more interested in spreading angry Trump-style politics than protecting kids. 👇🏻
This week we witnessed a truly horrific school shooting in Tumbler Ridge. And at a time when British Columbians are uniting in support of the community, some people have been exploiting this tragedy to push a political agenda against trans kids.
That's shameful and wrong. 🧵
Great to see my friend @carolejames, the best Finance Minister and Deputy Premier in BC’s history!
Carole got the ball rolling for us, but all her hard work is at risk with John Rustad.
We can’t let that happen. #bcndp#bcpoli
" @GraceALore is very important to us as indigenous peoples. She's the face of our movement to reclaim our jurisdiction over Children and families and we need her, we need her back." — Grand Chief Stewart Phillip
Psst... it's called supporting workers. the bcgreens platform lacks wage protections, union support, and gig worker protections. No mention of raising minimum wage or tying wages to inflation. When they had chance they voted against making it easier to join unions in BC. #bcpoli
Here we have it: A campaign more outraged by a reporter entering an office than by the vileness of the candidate who peddles hate as his currency. Pathetic doesn’t begin to cover it. #bcpoli
This week I voted in the #BCElxn2024. I voted for @Dave_Eby & @bcndp & if you care about reconciliation & protecting what you love from a changing climate, I hope you do too. It was hard for me. Here is why I did it and why I think it’s important #bcpoli 🧵
“The basic fact [is] that every vote for the Green Party increases the risk of John Rustad and the Conservatives winning.” Grand Chief Phillip, Chief Tom and Chief Slett #bcpoli https://t.co/m2I2dnLyFa
"For British Columbians committed to the critical work of reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, there is only one choice: the B.C. NDP."
"Every vote for the Green Party increases the risk of John Rustad and the Conservatives winning."
https://t.co/PbKE1qMH0t
"We urge you to vote for David Eby and the B.C. NDP in this election," said [Grand Chief Stewart Phillip, Chief Don Tom and Chief Marilyn Slett]. "Voting for anyone else risks a win for John Rustad and the B.C. Conservatives." #bcpoli
Only two parties have the chance to form govt in BC. The @bcndp are the only choice committed to helping all people get ahead, not just get by. This is a powerful reminder from @UBCIC 👇🏻 https://t.co/m5AANhO0vX
