@TightPumPumGyal @FeelitWorking @BBCNews I'm sorry hear that, you do raise a valid point, but the 'workers' can't stop these overflows, our sewage treatment systems aren't designed to handle half of what we flush down our loos, so.. blockages occur, causing overflows, causing contamination. We ALL are responsible 💧

@_JennTweetss @BBCNews Re your 1st point. It isn't 'allowed' to happen, it happens due to unforseen blockages. Mostly, due to consumer negligence, ie flushing things that shouldn't be flushed.
This isn't preventable by anyone else but us. We are being negligent, not company 'bosses'. 2nd point is mute

I've just found out that black ants can live to around 20 years. I looked it up, 12 hours for us is like an ants year. I did the math, that means the average ant lives to be around 14,600 ant years old. I'm not sure how to feel about this, but it's blown my mind 🤯🐜. #ant #wow

Please don't flush wipes down the toilet. Even the 'flushable' ones block up our wastewater systems, causing overflows and creating mass pollution, destroying ecosystems, and contaminating our waterways. Bin it, don't flush it. 🌍 #cleanwater #ecosystem #toilet #bititdontflushit
