With things slowly opening up, I'm becoming more aware of the people who left during the great hibernation. My last visit was to the Student Center. Miss you @AngBranson!
@MozDefinitely@axhleighlouise @TrackTheCorrupt That economic damage would unfortunately reap consequences on the middle class, thus defeating itself in time. Better to encourage success by putting your money into AA economic efforts.
@RedlightVibes@axhleighlouise There have been riots after past events that did not result in change. I believe that affecting their business is the fastest way to effect change in America.
@cenkuygur Broadbrush statements like this are damaging and never accurate. I know plenty of logical, even-keeled Republicans. Do not criminalize a contrary mindset. Learn to discuss issues calmly and come to resolutions. Your statement breeds nothing but more division and hate.
@lmcgrew While your prompt appears to invite feedback, your remarks are very attacking. Online arguments very rarely prompt people to change their minds. I imagine that attacking your respondents will likely get them to dig in their heels more than anything else....
I trust our country's citizens with bailout money far more than any corporation. We need to pay our rent and feed our families. Tell Congress to support us directly until the crisis is over. Businesses can only thrive if there are customers.

@wooodrufff@Crador@TalbertSwan@realDonaldTrump Those are interesting, but it still doesn't define what words are off the table. I think of ungodly words/cursing as vitriole and hostility to others. To me, "I hope you die!" is bad while "I fucking love you!" is good. Thoughts?
Having lived in a rural community, I would agree that UBI would have done vastly more for me there than it would in my current city living situation. That said, I'd like a UBI in either situation.
Rural communities have a very hard time attracting federal dollars. Universal Basic Income gets federal dollars to rural communities in a way no other program can, by getting money to everyone, regardless of where they live. UBI also goes further in rural areas due to lower CoL.
@revwendy3 You're a new face to me, but I respect everyone who is helping to bend the curve in any way they can. I cannot express my gratitude for your choice to continue to provide ministry from a distance. Thank you for keeping the herd safe. 🙏
6. Small business is one of the few bipartisan issues left.
Why make airlines whole after they spent 96% of free cash flow on buybacks in the last decade - and then let your local voter deal with the closing of their favorite shop, restaurant or service?
@darrenmwong Six Feet Under had the absolute best series finale I've ever seen. Still to this day. I appreciated the rhythm of the show, the content, the acting. It was all good. One of the very few shows that everyone in my family enjoyed.
@EvanMarquardt_ RCV, Democracy Dollars, and UBI. With a functional government, we could likely be much more successful avoiding other important goals like climate change, healthcare for all, and ending forever wars
