Fully in God's hands. I am immensely grateful to be continuing my senior season at UIL State Meet in Austin :D

[Keller ISD Athletics @KISDAthletics]

Congratulations to UIL State Qualifier Melissa Tagorda of Central High School! She cleared 11’6 on the pole vault and will be competing at the State Meet in Austin! @KellerCentralHS @CentralXC

Meet activities 💁‍♀️

[Melissa @MelissaTagorda]

Hit the 140 12'9 gripping 12ft on some of my 11'6 attempts. Super happy about that. Seems that I will be sticking to a 6-step run from now on - keeps me from wasting unnecessary energy since I am already up to speed.

[Melissa @MelissaTagorda]

11ft clear at the home meet. Thankful for some consistency and the support.

[Melissa @MelissaTagorda]

Not fabulous, but it's still a bar (3.15m). I'll take what I can get. Praise God :)

[Melissa @MelissaTagorda]

Hit the 130 12'9 and ran from a 6 step.

[Melissa @MelissaTagorda]

Been having a rough go at it, but having my team has helped a lot. Here is a clear at 3.36m (11ft). Super proud of this one :D

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Great first day @texasrelays!

Isaiah Taylor: school-record 10.47 in the 100, going to finals.

The 4x200 of Falon Brown, Ja’mari McGee, Jeremiah Taylor, and Isaiah Taylor ran a school-record 1:26.44, going to finals.

[Melissa @MelissaTagorda]

Was able to get a feel for proper timing on the inversion at this practice-unfortunately not videoed-but I was able to closely replicate it. Been having a rough go this year... currently building back confidence. 115 12'9

[Melissa @MelissaTagorda]

Proud of this practice the other day.

[Melissa @MelissaTagorda]

crazy to think these poles were standing me up last year lol

[Melissa @MelissaTagorda]

I am in a much better position than I was at this time last year... looking forward to season :) bungee at 12ft

Jesus defeated death so you can live.

Got some clears at SFA :)

Bars at 3.10m, 3.25, 3.40m and I'm on a 12'9 125 from a 6-Step.

(This was well over a month ago, ig it never posted)

Ouachita Baptist Meet - 3/20/25

NH at 3.05m (10ft), frustrating to say the least because I don't like using non-ideal weather conditions as an excuse 😑

[Melissa @MelissaTagorda]

3/17/25 - Practice bar clear at 11'0 and attempt at 11'6 (all 11'6 attempts look like the one posted)

[Melissa @MelissaTagorda]

Had a 15-20mph tailwind for Friday's practice and was able to see some progress on the 12'9s. Left shoulder is healing up 👍 Meet this Thursday!
