🌈 LGBTQ+ History Month spotlights historical figures and their contributions to creating a more just society for the LGBTQ+ community. The month-long observance was founded by Missouri high-school teacher Rodney Wilson in 1994.
There are certain core values that should bring us together as Americans.
One of them is standing together against hate, racism, bigotry, and violence that have long haunted and plagued our nation.
Everyone has a role to play.
By fighting anti-LGBTQ+ state legislation, enforcing non-discrimination laws, and signing the Respect for Marriage Act, the Biden-Harris Administration has been a loyal ally. We are honored to welcome the first family to our National Dinner! https://t.co/5XsobdhxvA

Colonization of Appalachia started long before the coal companies, long before industrial timber companies, long before absentee landowners profited over & above tenant settlers.
To remember Appalachian history means remembering our WHOLE history.
Happy #IndigenousPeoplesDay.
Happy #IndigenousPeoplesDay from Shawnee, Chickasaw, Cherokee, Osage, Adena, Hopewell, Mississippian, & Yuchi land—land also now called Kentucky.
We recognize we're on native land & today is about more than land acknowledgments. We must fight for indigenous justice.
Celebrating the rich tapestry of cultures, wisdom, & resilience on #IndigenousDay. Let’s honor the vibrant heritage of indigenous communities worldwide, & work together towards a future of mutual respect, understanding, and harmony. #RespectIndigenousVoices#LigginsLogic@FCPSKY
