@Kromesthete @austrawandil @CharlesLarrivee As per Tolkien:
Long dark hair (NoME)
Ageless looking, tall, lithe, strong, bright eyes, etc.. (every Elf description..).
Fair skin (Appendix F/PoME)
I'd say other then the armour, the SoM/W games design is fairly accurate to the lore.
@Alayanabeth Why eveeyone think Middle-earth is like medieval Europe - because that was Tolkien's main source of inspiration (early medieval period). He also had some Mediterranean inspiration when regarding the Númenóreans and Dwarves.
@tolkienprof @Dat_Holo_Boy @JJ48car@XenosATron@theoneringnet Many of the things they made aren't "grounded in the lore" and either don't make sense within it or straight up contradict it. (E.g. 2 Durins alive at once/Mithril=Silmaril+Elf+Balrog+lightning/Mithril=the cure for fading, etc...).
@mellon_heads Season 4*
Season 1 - build up.
Season 2 - forging of the Rings.
Season 3 - War of the Elves and Sauron.
Season 4 - Akallabêth.
Season 5 - War of the Last Alliance.
At least how i think it'd be
@Thetobylythgoe @starkzayob49 Yes, Númenor is on an island between Middle-earth and Valinor, Elendil, Isildur (who cut the Ring from Sauron's hand in LoTr) and Anárion built Gondor and Arnor in Middle-earth towards the end of the 2nd Age.
