💔 In one of his last conversations, he told his mother: “Mom, you will still be proud of me.”
As if he somehow foresaw his fate…
Oleksandr Matsievskyi would have turned 46 today. But in 2022, he was heroically killed near Soledar.
His final words are forever etched into the memory of Ukrainians:
“Glory to Ukraine”… 🇺🇦
End of month Ukraine map thread 🧵 for March 2026
Today, rather than focusing on specific units, we're looking at the distribution of geolocations.
The map below shows all recorded March geolocations across Ukraine, excluding deep strikes inside Russia. As expected, activity is heavily concentrated along the front line - that dense clustering that reflects the intensity of ongoing fighting.
However, this month shows a notable shift.
Strikes into occupied territories have increased significantly, and they are not limited to isolated targets. These operations have reached deeper into the operational rear, hitting assets such as Bastion launchers, Tornado-S MLRS launchers, fuel trains, large amounts of air defence units and other logistical infrastructure.
The Russians are rightfully spooked this month. No one told them war wasn't meant to be this way. Your air defense is a joke, you're broke, your oil terminals are DOA.
We went from "Ukrainians can't learn how to operate Himars" to "Ukraine is leading the world of military innovation" in about 4 years.
Just how many lives could've been saved if those mental biases weren't present in the minds of some "experts"
