Unpopular reality that the media won't show you: Here's a story about the banning of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Ukraine is more conservative, religious, tolerant, and traditional than Russia. Ukrainians are more attached to the land and ancient tradition than Russians. Witness how Ukrainians actually celebrate Christmas, while Russians, broken by a century of Communism, only celebrate secular "New Years." Although Ukraine is a much smaller nation than Russia, more Ukrainians go to church than Russians. The stats prove this but the behaviour shows it.

Sovietism destroyed any culture in Russia. In Ukraine, despite Moscow's attempts through the centuries, people have held on to faith, family freedom. As in the Soviet times but with more turbo-charged violence than ever, Russia now sends North Korean ballistic missiles and Iranian drones upon Ukraine every day to erase one of the world's most tolerantly traditional societies: a rare example on this earth of people who live well together even with different traditions. Did you know there is hardly any violent crime in Ukrainian cities, except when the Russians are attacking?

The Russian Orthodox Church was re-created by Stalin after the Bolshevik Revolution killed it. He didn't make it for good vibe but rather as his personal spy agency, and it has continued to be the Kremlin's spy network. Kirill, the top bishop, is a former KGB agent.

Now, after 2.5 years of Russians bombing and murdering Christians, Jews, and Muslims in Ukraine, at last the Ukrainian parliament has given the Russian priest-agents nine months to de-link themselves from Moscow. That's more than considerate, considering that these Russian priest-agents have guided many missile attacks from their privileged positions in gilded but empty churches throughout Ukraine. They're empty because Ukrainians don't go to the spy-church. They go to real church.

Go to Lviv on a Sunday and witness the overflowing churches, with the sound of chant filling the city squares. Go to Donbas and witness accountants and bartenders taking up arms to defend the innocent. You can't go to Mauripol where all the churches and the whole city were burned. Go to Kharkiv region and see Christian churches in ruins because of Russian bombs. Witness hundreds of people falling to their knees in bustling Kyiv to honor the fallen.
