Behind every earn product is a vault, but most people picture it as a yield wrapper.
It's like calling a bank a place to park cash – technically true but it misses the point completely.
Yield is just the output. The real job is managing capital under a mandate.
Tokenized stocks are heating up, and it's obvious that the category will get huge very soon.
Thinking of tokenized stocks, they don't make much difference on their own compared to offchain stocks.
So what makes them so interesting? It's the primitives that can be built with them onchain, bringing new categories to the market.
Access to credit against stocks, custom and democratized indexes, yield-bearing stocks, and more to come.
The next obvious step is native onchain issuance for stocks, starting with tokenized equities, and then we'll see full-scale onchain IPOs. The future is bright, and the future is onchain.
RWAs are building blocks for the next decade of onchain strategies.

Blockaid has partnered with @mellowprotocol to secure its vault infrastructure.

For depositors, nothing changes, the mandate remains the hard boundary and anything outside it still reverts.
Blockaid adds a second pair of eyes watching the whole picture on top of it, giving Mellow an extra way to notice unusual patterns early and review them in context.
Every Core Vault knows what its operator can and can't do. Verifiers check each action against the vault mandate and reject anything outside it.
Now, Mellow is moving its live monitoring to @blockaid_, adding another layer of oversight around the activity inside those rules.
One action can look completely ordinary on its own, but ten in a row may not, so Blockaid looks at the flow, not only the individual transaction.
The system analyzes timing, frequency and order of the events, and flags suspicious behaviour even when every step was permitted.
Tokenization is bringing more assets onchain, where they can move faster, become programmable and plug into new financial products.
These assets are arriving fast. Mellow joins the @rwasummit in Brooklyn as an Innovator Partner to discuss the layer that manages them.
While traditional payments still depend on banking hours and intermediaries, stablecoins move around the clock and settle directly.
But what should happen to the balance that builds once a company starts receiving and holding stablecoins?
Here's @s0xn1ck's thoughts at ETHConf:
Initial Vault cap is 1M USDG.
Robinhood users now get access to curated onchain strategies, and Robinhood Chain’s USDG credit markets get a borrower to match the liquidity that's already there.

Mellow Vaults are live on @RobinhoodCrypto.
USDG holders can now get access to curated onchain strategies on Robinhood Chain without managing positions themselves.
The first is USDG Yield Vault, running a capped stablecoin carry strategy with @Morpho markets underneath.
The vault accepts USDG and has zero fees for the first month.
Underneath, Vault deploys USDG into @ethena's USDe and @maplefinance's syrupUSDG, supplies them as collateral on Morpho, and borrows USDG against it. The borrowed USDG is then looped back to capture the carry spread.
Mellow will integrate Robinhood Chain’s key DeFi venues, such as @SteakhouseFi-curated lending markets on @Morpho, letting them work together inside programmable onchain products.
Mellow is bringing onchain strategy infrastructure to Robinhood Chain.
Robinhood Chain brings, tokenized RWAs, and stablecoins together on a fast, efficient, and open network. The network already hit 200M+ transactions in just over a month.
A vault can be fully transparent and still be difficult to read.
Mellow’s analytics UI makes understanding what has changed easier to follow, bringing all the details under one interface.

Even the safest and most versatile vault falls short if operating it is guesswork.
The Curation UI makes day-to-day operations easier for the curator and gives the product owner a clearer view of how the vault is positioned and managed.

When a bank, fintech, asset manager or exchange considers launching an onchain product, yield is not the first question.
What they need to know is where the capital is, who can move it and what they are allowed to do at any moment.
Without the answers, the product doesn't ship.
Still, controls shouldn't narrow what a strategy can do. Core Vaults put them on one surface, so oversight stops getting harder every time the strategy gains a venue.
What the curator can do is still bounded and enforced in the contracts, while the Curation UI makes it visible.
