Now learning a wake was held Wednesday night on the James Smith Cree Nation for Damien Sanderson.
Hundreds of people from the community showed up for it. Including Chiefs.
Yesterday Darryl Burns, whose sister was killed, held Damien’s wife, Skye, and talked about forgiveness.
To the @RCMPSK and @rcmpgrcpolice members that have been working tirelessly over the past few days, Thank You. There are allot of families in NE Saskatchewan that will sleep allot better tonight due to your efforts, including my own. #Respect

This election’s results being the same as 2 years ago is pretty fitting, since most of us have put our lives on hold these last two years and we’re mostly in the same place, just older, somewhat sadder, and more jaded.

I keep seeing posts about the concern for teachers and how brave they are and so on. Which, don’t get me wrong, they are but WHAT ABOUT THE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS WHO HAVE BEEN TEACHING, PLAYING AND WORKING THROUGH THIS PANDEMIC THE WHOLE TIME!?!?!?!?!
Today is Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day.
Early childhood development is vital in our children reaching their full potential.
Thank you to all our educators who work tirelessly each and every day - and thank you for your incredible work during the #COVID19SK pandemic.
Today, the Chief Medical Health Officer has reported 4 new cases & 14 more recoveries.
This means that for the first time since the arrival of #COVID19 in Saskatchewan, the # of new recoveries exceeded the number of new confirmed cases today. #COVID19SK
