I’m a man, and even though I don’t agree with her exact words, I can proudly say that I support her. Why? Because I understand the pain and frustration behind that message. I understand what pushes a young woman to express herself so strongly.

To everyone calling this hate speech — it’s not. It’s a cry for help. It’s a reflection of the fear, trauma, and exhaustion that so many women live with every single day.

Instead of attacking her, we as men should be asking ourselves why she feels this way. Our defensive reactions are part of the very problem she is speaking about. This is bigger than the words on her sign — it’s about the reality of gender-based violence in our society.

We should be fighting with her, not against her.
