I say this all the time!!!! Buy items to build your wardrobe. If it can’t be worn multiple ways then it’s not really adding much value to the collection of items.
I feel like we’re all selective activists to some extent 👍. Humans are inherently hypocritical and inconsistent, which is why these conversations drain me everyone seems convinced they’ve cracked the morality code, while everyone else is simply wrong. 😭
Become someone who wastes nothing. A bad job gives you skills. A difficult person teaches you boundaries. A failed idea gives you better judgement. A random conversation gives you a new perspective. grateful for what goes right, learn from what goes wrong, and remember that one day the
experiences you struggled through will become the wisdom you live by.
Or you may not. You should also be willing to hold the possibility that you may not and still be committed to living a full, meaningful life regardless.
The literacy crisis isn’t just about people struggling to read words. It’s about losing the ability to understand context, infer meaning, question information, and form your own conclusions. And relying on AI to do all that thinking for us is only making the problem worse.
Some days require profound reflection and personal development. Other days require good food, an excellent outfit and absolutely no lessons whatsoever.
