The new app icon is tied to Spotify’s “Your Party of the Year(s)” nostalgia campaign, showing users their all-time music eras and playlists.

But the internet is divided:
• Some love the retro party vibe
• Others say it looks like a broken loading icon 😭

Spotify says the change is temporary and will revert in future updates.
