@luv_meX23 My sis works at a library, said her coworker ranted on how fanfics are poorly written & just smut. I asked who, then proceeded to take the book from the “librarians recommend” shelf under his name, genuinely hoped for smth I’d enjoy. Meh. It was ok but not better than a good fic

@arihyyhrang Seriously. And even if the ai was good enough to supplement all their schooling, why would companies bother to pay them when ai can do the job??

But the worst part is, it cant. So we’re left with hapless imposters and generated misinformation instead. It’s terrifying

@RespectfulMemes Was at a friend’s house for a movie night. He laid back into the cushions and propped up his foot on the coffee table to get comfortable, as you do. He then was having difficulty getting the remote to work.

It was his foot. It was blocking the receiver 😂

@Uduakabasi70375 Multiplication is more like “5 x 10 is five people holding ten apples, how many total apples are there?” so for the above example its 1,000 ppl each holding zero apples means there are a total of zero. The people and the apples didn’t change or go anywhere, there’s just no apples

@olivvrszn Yes but also it has to be done well! I still remember reading the back of a book and expecting the described event to be the inciting incident… i got past 3/4 of the book before realizing that was supposed to be the climax!!

Local library had an event where they make you a free button, so i used a pic of an old art piece of mine. Sadly the measurement they gave didn’t explain the margin that would be cut off so it shows less than I would’ve liked but it’s still really cool to have my art on a button!

@HedgieMarkets This is a modern book burning, because there’s no way you can get anything unchanged back through ai, and its all in the name of controlling information. It’s terrifying.
