@Kasoogi@butchnbutcher Thing is, you dont need published works to get a diversified form of reading. Seperating fanfics from normal writing just cause its "supplementary" is reductive.
@Abyssal_Blythe There's nothing wrong with telling her that youre not the person to be venting that stuff to. Thats just hurtful, even if they didnt know/mean it. The damage has been done.
@an_evil_twink People said the same type of thing about video games and TV, just use it in moderation and dont be a dumb fuck. If you are, thats on YOU as a person.
@sukikage_ And the people that can help you, be there for you, dont want to. Because they didnt go through that, you shouldn't either. Just be normal. I've gone through the effort of losing weight, taking care of myself, loving myself, but its exhausting when im the only one that does it.
@shanescervix I started writing a fanfiction in private to help sort my feelings about that stuff. Im not good at romance at all irl, being stood up so many times has made me not want to leave my house anymore xd writing has been helping though, at least I can make someone have good romance.
@BuckeyeSight@PaulTassi Crow. He's basically the main character besides the guardian, has a whole character development arc that scans the whole franchise and he's pretty white coded.
@Y0gurtissad People these days are playing this massive game of pretend, can't show empathy or else you're some sort of monster. Remember, communication is a two way street. If someone doesn't like the way you comfort them, then you've done what you could, not your problem.
@vamp1bella It depends on the person, maybe someone's low self esteem comes from their lack of funds leading to a lack of excitement in their life. But most of the time, no. In my case having cash would mean I wouldn't be wondering every day whether or not I have enough food.
