Dear Rachel Reeves
You said that if you became Chancellor, you would appoint a Covid Corruption Commissioner.
You are now the Chancellor. Please keep your promise. Taxpayers want their money back. The corruption is unacceptable.

Alan Bates is considering Privately Prosecuting the Bosses of the Post Office for Corporate Manslaughter.
RT If you support him, it is the only way there will be justice.
Mick Lynch, "We've got the country on the move again.. There's a bit of dynamism in the leadership of the country" @RMTunion
"What they told us in opposition is going to be delivered.. There will be legislation in September repealing the railway act, which means we can get on the road to public ownership"
"We're interested in housing.. Cost of living.. We want people to get a better deal from society.. There is plenty of wealth in society.. We need to work out a way where everybody get's a share of that.. Through hard work.. Through education.. We want a better health service"
"That will need a better economic strategy.. We don't think the current fiscal rules are going to be sufficient to address the needs of the country.. We're going to need more public spending"
"Growth is a part of it but people have to be taxed properly.. There are a lot of people avoiding tax"
"Are Conservative MPs sorry for getting behind Liz Truss?"
"Two thirds of the people on two child benefit cap are in work.. That means people are not being paid the full rate for the work they're doing.. What we're doing is subsidising employers who are pushing forward low pay"
"You get a growing economy by paying workers the right amount so they are not on benefits or having to get free school meals.. And not having to use food banks"
"The rich say that as soon as they get taxed they will leave the country and take their wealth away, and then tell us that they're patriots"
"People on good wages have to pay their taxes.. This will lift people up out of poverty and we won't have the benefits bills that we have now"
"The working group is not going to get anybody a loaf of bread on Friday.. They need the benefits to be sorted out"
Genuinely if you can’t afford VAT for your kids to attend private school…don’t send them. But to expect your kids to be more important than kids going hungry in schools is the sort of arrogance mixed with ignorance that’s ruining this country. Sounds harsh but it’s true, you’ll blame the parents of kids going hungry but won’t accept your own accountability.
Must watch first speech in parliament by Keir Starmer in which he tears into 14 years of Conservative failure and outlines how Labour will do better - long watch but refreshing
Keir Starmer, "Whilst I respect the tone of leader of the opposition Rishi Sunak's contribution, I can't stop my mind wandering to 9 months ago when he was at this dispatch box"
"His political hero Nigel Lawson said: to govern is to chose, and everyday serving the people of this country is a chance to make a difference for them"
"Yet Mr Speaker, the last King's speech was the day the veil of Rishi Sunak's choices slipped.. And we all saw a party, his party, content to let our countries problems fester.. Content to push aside the national interest.. As they focused almost entirely on trying to save their own skins"
"No more wedge issues.. No more gimmicks.. No more party political strategies masquerading as politics.. This is an agenda focused entirely on delivering for the people of this country.. Legislation for the national interest.. To make people better off.. Solve problems not exploit them"
"With each day that passes, my government is finding new and unexpected marks of their corruption.. Scars of the last 14 years where politics was put above the national interest.. Decline deep in the marrow of our institutions"
"We've seen it in our prisons.. In our rivers and seas.. It's even worse than we thought.. We see it in our councils, not even able to deliver services for children with special educational needs"
"The work of change has begun"
Today @bbclaurak did the following:
1) made an outrageous claim that intimidation lost Jonathan Ashworth his seat
2) mocked labour policy in a sarcastic sing song voice
3) got Nigel farage to comment on divisive politics
RT if you agree they need a new presenter.
