@GooglePayIndia Hi - Fraudster picks a closed business and lists mobile number on Google search. A buyer looking for the business (Crosswords bookstore in my case). When number is called, fraudster shares Gpay QR code and promises to deliver product. Once payment made, fraudster is unreachable.

@nikhilkamathcio Amex provides the option to verify using OTP or by tapping a notification that is sent to the Amex app. This is a good option when SMS fails to work.
