Over a Thousand Years of Venetian Splendour are radiating from the golden Domes of Saint Marc's Basilica - no other comperable church from the early medieval period of this monumental scale and this level of splendour exists to this day. Its also worth mentioning that Saint Mark's Basilica in Venice was inspired by the Apostle church in Constantinople which no longer exists either.

This is the interior of the Church of Santa Maria dell'Anima in Rome, Italy.Founded in the 14th century by Dutch merchants, it is now the national church for German Catholics in Rome.The interior is lavishly decorated with vibrant Baroque frescoes, paintings, and sculptures. It is located just west of Piazza Navona in the city's historic center.
