@ununseriousguy@daily_UofM@bethbourdon@pookyfren@Arefsoid Not just “another person”, it’s sanctioned by the government. I don’t think people understand how hard it is already to stop that power from being abused for terrible things, if it could be stopped at all. @daily_UofM
@Fop_Pilled@bethbourdon It’s not just about Stephan Sterns. He can burn in hell after however long he rots in prison. But don’t think for a minute you wouldn’t be next on the chopping block if you had your way.
@mywholesometw@bethbourdon Do you want to live under a dictatorship where the government can decide to kill people at its leisure? You have no idea about the sanctity of life.
@GunplaGaming@bethbourdon Agenda captured? I think not. I’m not happy he died but there is a world of difference from someone dying from accident or illness and demons in government killing people because they can. Stop trying to make it equal, it’s absolutely dishonest.
@Rightofred@Elder_Haman@WestMichP2@ArthurMacwaters@armenian_jpg "People" are wildly wrong. If public defenders didn't exist we would have way more victims. In the nations around the world where monsters are "dealt with" quickly, the government calls you a criminal and then they kill you. And 90 year old women will still get Raped——to——Death.
@PunishedPigeons@NewGuyFloyde69@notauntblazer@bethbourdon@lastacctwt@schmeeboh You would be completely justified because you are trying to protect your life. The state protects nobody when an execution happens unless you presume that the person would escape prison or otherwise get released and go on to murder someone else.
@UMDunnoBro@bethbourdon@doin_a_think Filing an appeal is still part of the legally mandated job, and appeals themselves are constitutionally mandated by Florida.
