This Black History Month was one of celebration, reflection, and happiness. This is only the beginning of my hopes for us and it doesn’t end because the month is over. Stay Black, Stay Proud, Stay Educated, Stay True to YOU!

As we close out Black History Month, I have so many hopes for us. I’ve spent this month reflecting and truly basking in Black joy. Disengaging from negativity, pouring into communities that fill my cup. #Thread
Looking at ways to be a better therapist, daughter, sister, friend, soror & colleague. Taking time to recharge, be softer and kinder to myself. Finding new meaning and purpose in the things that better align with me.
I spoke at my alma mater recently and this topic came up. As a young Black professional, I always want to encourage Black and Brown people to be themselves in spaces. On the other hand, I know that me being my full self was not always appreciated and i lost jobs because of it.
