IRONIC TWIST: New York Times Columnist Suggests Trump is Now Seen as the ‘Return to Normalcy’ Candidate
Then in 2020, Democrats claimed that Biden would be the ‘return to normalcy’ candidate. Everyone can see how that worked out.
MAYBE THE NY TIMES HAD TO SEE THE 'ABNORMAL' COMMUNISTIC ADMIN OF BIDEN to realize that Trump is a normal American - who is strong - determined and loves America and the American way.

This is what the religion of peace is doing for the Christians in Nigeria,113 killed on Christmas Eve in Plateau State,Some celebrating Christmas. We were harvesting dead bodies with no more place to bury them. Please Aunty Lara speak for us,No one is helping Christians in Nigeria
We are still fighting to get those two guns back! Missouri Court of Appeals said "NO" yesterday, but I'm going to see what the Mo. Supreme Court has to say. We exercised our 2A rights, got persecuted, pardoned by Gov. Parson but still don't have them back! (if I wasn't holding an evil "assault weapon", you think I might have gotten them back by now?- woke is as woke does, Momma always says)
"Why is the US so eager to go to war on behalf of Ukraine or Israel, but when tens of thousands of Christians are murdered in Nigeria no one seems to notice?"
In the heart of Nigeria, a tragedy of unimaginable scale unfolded over the weekend. While the world's eyes are often diverted to more sensational global headlines, the central Nigerian state of Plateau experienced a horrifying series of well-coordinated attacks by armed gangs.
The death toll?
A staggering 113 lives lost, and over 300 people injured. Yet, amidst this chaos and loss, one can't help but notice the deafening silence from the international community and the apparent inaction of the Nigerian government.
This isn't a story of random, isolated incidents. What occurred in Plateau was a calculated and brutal assault on humanity. Reports indicate that not fewer than 20 different communities were targeted by these bandits, painting a picture of an attack that was as widespread as it was merciless.
Plateau is no stranger to violence. Known for its clashes between herders and farmers, this region has seen a relentless cycle of conflict claim hundreds of lives in recent years. Yet, despite the pattern of violence, the response from both the Nigerian government and the global community has been tepid at best.
In the wake of these attacks, state governor Caleb Mutfwang condemned the violence, describing it as "barbaric, brutal and unjustified." Promises were made to take proactive measures to protect innocent civilians. However, these words ring hollow in the face of continuous violence and the historical failure to adequately address the root causes of these conflicts.
Amnesty International's criticism of the Nigerian government is a damning indictment. The organization has labeled the government's failure to protect its citizens in Plateau as "brazen." This critique points to a larger problem: a government that seems either unable or unwilling to safeguard its people from such relentless attacks.
The story unfolding in Nigeria is more than a regional crisis; it's a reflection of a broader issue of government ineptitude and a global inclination to overlook certain tragedies. While other global incidents capture headlines and prompt international outrage, the plight of the Nigerian people seems to be met with a collective shrug.
In a world where outrage often seems to be a selective luxury, the ongoing massacre of Nigerian Christians stands as a stark reminder of the world's inconsistent stance on human rights abuses. The situation in Nigeria isn't just a local issue; it's a glaring testament to the selective blindness of the global community towards specific atrocities.
Over the last 14 years, Islamist militants have ravaged Nigeria's Christian community, claiming over 52,250 lives. In the first half of 2023 alone, the Fulani militants and other jihadist factions added 2,500 Christians to this grim tally. This escalating violence is not just a statistic; it's a systematic extermination of a religious community.
Astonishingly, amidst this bloodshed, Nigeria remains conspicuously absent from the U.S. Department of State's list of Countries of Particular Concern. This omission isn't just an oversight; it's a stark revelation of the skewed priorities in global human rights policies.
Despite its constitution guaranteeing religious freedom, Nigeria presents a contradictory reality. The enforcement of criminal Sharia law, leading to Christians being tried for apostasy and blasphemy, is a blatant disregard for their constitutional rights.
Organizations like Alliance Defending Freedom International have been on the frontline, fighting a relentless battle against a system that not only perpetrates violence against Christians but also fails in bringing the culprits to justice.
The lack of international outcry over this crisis is nothing short of alarming. The global community, often quick to rally against other forms of injustice, displays a disturbing indifference to the persecution of Christians in Nigeria.
Let's cut through the rhetoric and face the hard truth. If the victims were from a different religious or ethnic group, would the world remain this indifferent? This question challenges our collective moral compass and demands a serious introspection.
What we're witnessing in Nigeria transcends religious conflict; it's a human rights catastrophe on a massive scale. With about 5 million Christians displaced and living in dire conditions in IDP camps, this crisis is a glaring indictment of our global values.
It begs the question, why is the US and the rest of the international community so eager to go to war on behalf of Ukraine or on behalf of Israel, but when tens of thousands of Christians are being systematically exterminated no one seems to notice?
Well…
You allowed White Liberals to tell you what you should be offended by and then barely lifted a finger when *they* decided the image of a Black woman on a box of pancakes was offensive.
No box of pancakes or statue has ever impacted my life so greatly that it hindered me from achieving my own levels of greatness, but apparently, according to White Liberals, these are great obstacles in my life as a Black man.
Maybe if more of us told them to shut up, they’d get the point.
No American deserves to live like this. Our country is being intentionally destroyed by the Biden administration. Impeaching this President along with all the others who are complicit for instilling this level of fear into any American citizen must begin immediately.
I know it is like spitting into the wind stating this, but members of the @GOP MUST ACT NOW!!!
America is being destroyed by this border invasion.
God help us 🦅🙏🏼🇺🇸
Another night with shootings and noise that should NOT be where I am.
Had it not been for someone staying on the phone with me, as I hid in my walk in closet with my dog and a gun, I would have flipped out. Literal shotgun shots outside of my home, sirens everywhere.
It is time for me to leave this city. No one should have to live like this, no one.
Thank you for keeping me calm and staying with me, you know who you are.
Just to put things into perspective, this is now almost a daily thing. I’m sharing a video of just ONE instance.
I can’t hide this any longer, and I can only hide behind laughter for so long. Everyone needs to know what we are living with. When this nightmare hits your area, you will understand what we are going through down here at our Arizona border city.
It’s too late to close the border, they’re already here.
President Biden is vacationing to the Virgin Islands on Wednesday.
This after spending Christmas at Camp David.
Meanwhile, thousands of illegal immigrants cross our southern border every day.
And regular Americans can’t afford vacation thanks to his economy.
My wife and I have walked up and back down 5th Ave, NYC from Greenwich Village to Central Park hundreds of times in our 17 years living in Manhattan together. Beautiful 5th Ave, famous for its exquisite shops and iconic department stores, the Empire State Building, St Patrick's Cathedral, Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. There’s no forgiveness for a political party that purposely destroys every magnificent city they come into contact with. NYC, Chicago, and San Francisco, devastated with crime, racial tensions, homeless, and now, out of control illegal immigration. Joe Biden is just an ignorant, mentally challenged, malicious puppet, for a regime fixated on destroying America and rebuilding it as part of a New World Order. Barack Obama, a vile, manipulative, closet homosexual, racist, pulls Joe Biden’s weak aging strings, but whoever is controlling Obama is who we need be concerned with. NYC is ravaged with criminals, homeless, illegal migrants, and tens of thousands of pro-Islam protesters. The incomparable Miracle Mile in Chicago, is a diseased homeless encampment, and San Francisco’s amazing Tenderloin District is a homeless sea of human excrement, filth, and illicit drugs. If Democrats are voted back into power in 2024, the ‘United States of America’ will sadly complete its transition into a third world country.
Meet govt cat #8-1761. At her Auburn Univ. kitten mill, cats are deliberately bred with CRIPPLING genetic diseases and DIE in painful experiments—she’s only 6 months old. Your tax bill? $196K! Demand Congress END U.S. government cat testing. Sign now!
It’s shocking how well the media propaganda worked. Democrats went from 40% to 70% support for government censorship between 2018 and 2023.
The last five years will be remembered as one of the most successful disinformation and brainwashing efforts in modern history.
First They Scapegoat And Then They Censor
California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Chinese Premier Xi Jinping
Between 2019 and 2021, California Governor Gavin Newsom blamed climate change and Republicans for out-of-control forest fires.
But the real cause of the high-intensity mountain fires was that the state had failed to invest adequately in forest management. Newsom had even cut the funding to reduce fuel load and prevent high-intensity crown fires in mountain forests, and failed to make the state’s electric utilities keep brush from growing near electrical lines.
And yet, in a single message, Newsom managed to disavow responsibility for a problem he created, scapegoated Republicans and won accolades from apocalyptic environmentalists. Many other politicians have done the same.
Now, this strategy of denial and deflection is at work in Europe. In Ireland, Varadkar is scapegoating social media for the failure of policing.
And it’s easy to see why. Vardkar’s criticis are pummeling him on social media. "There is grave danger among us in Ireland that should never be here in the first place,” said world Ultimate Fighting Champion, Conor McGregor, an Irishman. Macgregorgenerated headlines internationally attacking the government on social media. “There has been zero action done to support the public in any way, shape or form.”
The Dublin protests and riots speak to similar hopelessness and ambient nihilism expressed by similarly aged alienated young men during the Black Lives Matter Protests of 2020. And yet journalists in that instance expended large amounts of efforts to contextualize as justified or at least understandable. By contrast, in the case of the Ireland protest, media and Vardkar are labeling the protests and rioters as “far right” even though the same outlets rarely called BLM “far left” in 2020.
And so Varadkar and the news media use the Ireland riots in the same way that Newsom used California’s fires: as both a shield and weapon.
Similarly, French leaders have failed for decades to integrate and assimilate immigrant populations into European life through schools, apprenticeship programs, and employment opportunities. The riots last summer resulted from anger similar to that held by many of the Black Lives Matter protesters in 2020, which was about police brutality. But it was also about frustration, resentment, and feelings of victimization, just like in the case of BLM.
In other words, the liberal-Left politicians around the world, from Varadkar and Macron to Obama and Biden, are demanding censorship of, among other things, the very issues they have long lectured the public as ones for which they are offering to address “root causes.”
Rather than maintaining the forest, dealing with mental illness, and providing a purpose and career path for angry young men, liberal Left governments have sought to use every new crisis as an opportunity to scapegoat their political opponents and, when that stops working, demand censorship, since the legitimacy and continued existence of the liberal Left hegemony in the West comes from control over information.
While formal US government funding of journalists may or may not have continued after the Church Commitee exposed it in 1976, the corporate news media in the US has promoted the agenda of the so-called “deep state” ever since, including in boosting calls for wars with Iraq, Afghanistan, and Ukraine, over the last 20 years.
What explains the continuing, relentless drive for censorship by leaders around the world doesn’t reflect the will of the people so much as the will of elites. They are making clear that they view a free and open information environment as an existential threat to its ability to wage war, move labor as freely as capital, manage pandemics, and control energy supplies.
Liberal and left governments around the world have made social programs, mass immigration, and alternatives to policing and incarceration their highest priorities. The result has been border chaos and violence in the U.S, and increased crime, stabbings and bombings in Europe, resulting in political backlashes from Italy and Sweden to the Netherlands and Spain, with right-wing parties in ascendence across the continent.
Liberal and Left governments around the world made climate change and renewables two of their highest priorities, and the result was energy dependence by Europe on Russia, rising energy prices, a return to coal, and support for China’s suppression of Uyghur Muslims.
And liberal and Left governments made pandemic response a central selling point in their agenda, and the result was catastrophic learning loss and student absenteeism that continues today.
All of the specific demands for censorship expose what they really want: decisions transferred from parents to government; mass migration; political decision-making on energy, health, and the economy transferred to the international level; more expensive energy from renewables; and the ability to begin new wars outside of democratic votes (e.g. Ukraine). Liberal-Left demands for governmental censorship will continue until they cause more harm than benefit to this agenda.
How Censorship Ends

The record to date is a grim one. Heads of state and other elected leaders from liberal-Left parties believe that the existing political cost of demanding censorship is worth the benefit. And advocates of censorship operate from the same playbook: “Censors can inhibit this backfire effect in various ways, including covering up the censorship, devaluing the target, reinterpreting the action, using official channels, and using intimidation and bribery.”
That is what they have done. In the US, pro-censorship forces attempted to hide their censorship inside of a “cybersecurity” agency and subcontract it out to government “partners” like Stanford Internet Observatory, while European nations take it out of their hands and put it in the hands of EU bureaucrats in Brussels. Censors around the world seek to devalue their targets as “far right” fascists, racists, and anti-semites.
They reinterpret their actions as “fighting misinformation and hate” rather than as censorship. And they promote official channels from government-funded companies like NPR, PBS, CBC, and BBC, and by giving money to supposedly independent news media companies, or by having government beneficiaries, like Pfizer, finance pro-government media publicity.
But if these governments are unable to control their borders, assimilate migrants, and prevent violent crime, it won’t matter how much they censor. Over the last two weeks, a plurality of voters cast their votes for a “far right” anti-immigrant political party in the Netherlands and a “far right” laissez-faire presidential candidate in Argentina, despite weeks of biased news media coverage against both. Having state-sponsored media label “far right” was apparently insufficient to destroy them electorally. .
At a certain point, the tactics of the regime fail. The men charged with policing the Berlin wall decide they don’t believe in the Berlin wall any more, and they let the people tear it down.
As such, the Irish Prime Minister’s renewed cause for his extreme hate censorship legislation isn’t just an obstacle for free speech advocates. It’s also an opportunity to push back on Varadkar’s totalitarian attack on the principle of innocent until proven guilty, and arbitrary ruel
“The sponsors of the Hate Speech Bill refuse to define 'hate,’” noted the group, Free Speech Ireland, “leaving the assessment to Gardaí [police] and, as our former Justice Minister, @SenatorMcDowell, pointed out, the possibility of 'Hate Speech' citizens' arrests.”
It’s one thing for the citizens of a nation to turn against one another politically and culturally. It’s quite another for them to criminalize each other’s political views.
“Varadkar has moved from being a wide eyed classical liberal with conservative social values to a doe eyed social democrat with authoritarian social values and colourful socks,” wrote a former Irish politician. “He is dancing to the WEF/EU tune on secular blasphemy laws. He simply has to be removed from office.
Change may be coming. The government’s failure to deal with rising violence, crime, and homelessness has led Conor McGregor to flirt with entering politics. “I am in the process of arranging,” he wrote on X. “Believe me I am way more tactical and I have backing. There will be change in Ireland, mark my words,” he wrote.
The people will not be put down permanently. “The motivation behind the Dublin riot is as old as collective human existence,” concludes Angela Nagle. “If a male outsider hurts or kills women and children, a violent response follows. This principle is overridden by force in imperial systems, where the overarching power strategy of territorial expansion necessitates a universalist moral code. Rome had one, the Soviet Union had one, and the United States has one. For a small island nation with no imperial ambitions, this arrangement has to be awkwardly enforced by an administrative and comprador class in exchange for financial and status benefits. When those benefits are felt only by an elite, violent retaliation is the predictable result.”
