In ten years, people will stop wanting to live in big cities.
Today, people choose them because that’s where the jobs, opportunities, services and convenience are. But AI is going to change that completely.
Work will become increasingly digital, automated, and eventually not even required. Rural areas will become far more developed, with AI infrastructure, extremely fast autonomous transport, drone deliveries, and access to almost everything you currently need a city for.
At that point, living in a tiny expensive apartment in the city will barely make sense when you can have a house, land, space and nature for far less.
