@r_u_thinking Sunroof excellent too. The rear windows down does force a near full-cabin cross draft, tho. Easier heat escape from sunroof tho, rising and all. 👍
@CoachDanGo It started decades back when it was expected that your company would teach you what you needed, but HR was still making it a hard prerequisite. Once companies started abandoning the college degree as an absolute must, it was clear that things were changing. I’m glad they are.
@queenwartooth Yep. The places I loved largely look identical and the same can be said for the places I liked less. The university area has changed a lot, though. But even Waco residents will say they’d prefer to not be judged solely by the school.
@rolltide0626 I love that most of my favorite spots from 30 years ago are largely unchanged. Not run down, either — just kinda like I step through a time portal to see my 20s all over again. 😃
@NOMalreadytaken If you decide to stop, check out George’s for a Big O or Poppa Rollo’s Pizza. George’s has expanded and upgraded, but they both feel largely the same as in years past. Two data points that I’m glad haven’t changed much!
@NOMalreadytaken I go back every year for alumni weekend, and Waco isn’t without its charms…but they are few. It really hasn’t changed a whole lot in the past 30 years, aside the university’s footprint.
