Fantastic afternoon with members and volunteers at Golf Memories Carnoustie after short break to recharge batteries! Cryptic clue's went down a storm - can you name the golfers? Then a trip down memory lane for winning moments from the Ryder Cup and their stunning venues.

Formed in 1922 in close proximity to Glasgow it was officially opened by the then Earl of Home. In 2002 a devastating fire destroyed the original clubhouse, the replacement being built nearer the centre of the course.

Founded in 1892 as a 9 hole course, it was expanded to 18 holes in 1905. This extension and a new Clubhouse were celebrated by an exhibition match between James Braid and Harry Vardon.

Arguably the oldest surviving 9 hole golf course in the Country. It was instituted on Monday 7th November 1855 and sited at Hilltarvit.

Open in 1889 as a 9 hole course, it was extended to 18 holes in 1907. From the 10th Tee there are great views of the Campsie Hills and Ben Lomond to the West.
