OK guys things just got very interesting. The UCP party president Rob Smith no relation to Danielle just said he believes the majority of UCP members will vote against staying in Canada this fall. So what does Danielle do. She goes on radio and publicly shuts him down. Her exact words. Let me be clear I speak for our government our caucus and our party. She just overruled her own party president on live media. And then Mitch Sylvestre just told CBC News he is actively organizing to force either a full leadership review of Smith or demand a completely different referendum question. This is not rumour. This is Mitch. The man who got 301000 signatures. When he moves he moves. Stay Free Alberta is also calling for an SGM which is a Special General Meeting. That is an emergency meeting that can happen immediately without waiting for the November AGM. So here is where we are. Mitch is organizing. Her own party president says the membership wants independence. Carney was caught on a hot mic this week calling the whole thing stupid. And she just publicly overruled her own party. She is getting fired at from every direction. Her own party. The independence movement. And the prime minister she tried to cozy up to is mocking her behind her back. @bigjohnson9111 Yes, there were different rules for them... It was a lot less work and during warm weather... I knew some people who thought they were voting for independence actually signed the forever Canada one by mistake - I'm guessing they weren't being very clear about that campaign...

Here's a whole pile of BS and misinformation in her/it post, they were closer to 404000 signatures. Elections Alberta removed over 40,000 of them immediately upon review, I'm pretty sure they're are still quite a few Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck's in there and the fact that you're able to do this in the summer with no backlash no one throwing hot coffee or trying to run you over or smashing cigarettes out in your face and they didn't have to get any ID, land address, physical address or have canvas badges or any of the above that we did have to, have but that's okay we follow the rules to the T and Justice and freedom will prevail it might just take time. But now is not the time to sit back and be quiet the meek must rise it is time to be loud and PROUD push back we have a backbone we're tough resilient and ready for the good fight remember this is for our future our children's future and our grandchildren's future ask yourself this question where do I want to see my children and grandchildren 30 years from now if you answer and a nice house with the family a good job and Money in the Bank then you definitely want Alberta Independence.
