@krassenstein See this is why people are veering away from the democratic party towards trump or republican. Democrats are more and more unpatriotic and alienate themselves from the masses. You are a contributing factor to the destruction of the democratic party.
We need the next generation to get into soccer. I know football and basketball have clout but look at the spectacle that is the world cup. More people watch it than any other sport in the world. We have the best athletes, facilities, medicine, etc in the world lets use it.
@RophinesAFEDRA@PolymarketSport Ok so explain Ronaldo who had the exact same rule article brought forward when he shouldve missed 2 world cup games. This is selective outrage.
To all the Europeans clutching their pearls over this after spending the last several days Eurosplaining the sport to us, let me explain it to you.
Even if Balogun deserved a red (he didn’t), the referee misused VAR under FIFA’s own rules. That resulted in a red card that couldn’t be appealed.
FIFA then correctly used Article 27 to review and suspend the ban because the initial VAR error led to an unappealable decision.
Announcers should definitely be informing the audience that Balogun will miss next match, assuming we win tonight.
Massive, massive implications there.
Huge loss.

You should need to punch somebody in the nuts for a red card to be issued. Or have it be a 5 minute penalty. But to lose a guy for the entire game is insane. We may have to go to war if we lose this screw job.
USMNT striker Folarin Balogun just received a red card for this play vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In Argentina's opening group stage match vs. Algeria, Leo Messi attempted this tackle yet received no card despite making contact on the player's calf.
Did either of these calls deserve a red card?
