National Pet ID Week starts every year on April 17th. Last year, our department handled 501 incidents involving animals, and a large majority of these tasked us with reuniting a pet with their owner. Identification is important, which is why we recommend microchipping your pet!

We want to remind drivers to be aware of their surroundings and to pay extra attention for bicycles. If you plan to ride your bicycle, please remember to be visible to others, use hand signals when turning or merging, and alert others ahead of you to your presence!
