If you encounter someone selling anything door to door, they should be in possession of a visible ID and registered with the Township with a permit. Please contact us immediately if you encounter someone who maybe illegally selling anything door to door or acting suspiciously.

We received a couple reports yesterday of someone in different areas of the township going door to door selling Pest Control. We have no one registered with our township permitted to do so.

Beginning February 17th 2023, the Mendham Township Police Department began equipping our officers with body worn cameras (BWC’s). These cameras will be used, as per the NJ Attorney General’s Guidelines, to capture video and audio recordings of police/citizen interactions��

All uniformed officers who are required to be equipped with body worn cameras will wear them on the front of their uniform around mid-chest. The use of body worn cameras is a valuable tool to assist our officers in the successful prosecution of criminal cases. In addition,
