@SlackHQ Scratch that. That did not fix the issue. Still reverts to local time zone regardless of where you set it (web or Mac app). Will send a note to the feedback e-mail.

@SlackHQ Is there a way to make a selected time zone stick in Preferences? Working in one time zone but need Slack to be on a different time zone at all times. If I quit Slack and re-open, it reverts to the local time zone each time.

@SlackHQ Interesting! If I set it from that link, it sticks. I've been setting it on the Slack Mac app (left pane > my name > preferences > language & region > set time zone. Not sure why it works on Slack web and not the Slack app though.
