@ankushd14@SahilKapoor I believe i heard this first on Joe Roganโs podcast with Pavel Tsatsouline. Weirdly, I stopped doing the same ever since and get triggered when others do it. ๐
Ending a crazy PR week with a new PR for squat - 150 kgs.
On to working for the next PR goals and strengthening olympic lifts after a much needed recovery week.
And the 200 barrier has finally been crossed with 210 kgs. :โ)
Crazy how under the right guidance and workout programming, results come faster than expected.
As one hits a plateau in lifting heavy in compound movements, improving the most intricate details in the movement makes so much difference in progressing further.
Slowly working towards the PR with 140 kgs for reps.
Jeez, such a horrible way to start the games. Sucks this happened to a seasoned athlete.
So fkn careless of the organisation despite having lifeguards on duty.
Today is the saddest day in @CrossFit history. We are shattered by the loss of Lazar ฤukiฤ along with the entire CrossFit community.
Lazar was one of our sportโs most talented competitors, but he was much more than an athlete. He was a son, a brother, and a friend to practically everyone who knew him. Fiercely competitive, incurably joyful and uncommonly kind, Lazar was the sun of any room he was in. The loss of his light is inconceivable.
The first instinct is to shut down. To isolate. To mourn.
But the only cure for grief is to grieve. And the best way to grieve is together. In our community, coming together to do hard things is how we pay tribute. In this spirit, we have decided to move forward with the 2024 CrossFit Games.
This weekend is dedicated to Lazar ฤukiฤ. We will open tomorrow at 10:00 am.
