If you're with the protesters, then you should demand the resignation of the Education Minister. But if you're against the protesters and believe they're terrorists or backed by foreign powers, then the Home Minister should resign. After all, how can there be so many terrorists in the country without it being a failure of the Home Ministry?
The shoes protesters lost yesterday while fleeing police batons, tear gas have been collected and carefully arranged by fellow protesters they may never know.
This is true art is born on the streets. A people's movement brings out the highest forms of solidarity and creativity.
JOURNALIST — You were mishandled and were bleeding at yesterday’s protest
RAHUL GANDHI 🔥 — “How I was treated is irrelevant. Treat me 5 times worse, I don’t care. The focus should be only on students”
If it was Modi or Kejriwal, they would have cried and played victim card 10x. But this man is built different 🫡
Someone please tell Delhi Police that firing tear gas at protesters will only make Delhi's AQI worse.
Then we'll have to demand the Environment Minister's Resignation too. 😭😂
~ Yours truly, Gen Z
I was thinking Rahul will raise the issue in front of the Parliament today. He wasn't allowed and now he is outside the PM's house. This is such a bold move, this is leadership. Fantastic. 👏👏👏
RG has played smart. Literally sitting on chaati of PM.
If forces touch him or PGV, it will be all over international media. If they leave him, more people will join him till late evening.
Reason they sent bjp MP for negotiations but it didn’t work.
NM, howz the masterstroke? From a 56 year young man
Kudos to @BlueTokaiCoffee Connaught Place.
I didnt even know a coffee shop could muster up a first aid station that nobody else could (or wanted to...like Haldiram).
Proud investor 🫡
Now, 500 burgers from McDonald's have arrived at the CJP protest, along with cold drinks and rasgullas.
Yesterday, the CJP protesters felt quite bad because Vijeta Dahiya had a burger while they didn't get any. So today, Junaid Bhai sponsored burgers for the CJP protesters as well.
It's more like a party than a protest.
You can be a proud Hindu but still criticize BJP.
You can hate CJP but still support education reforms.
You can dislike Congress but still want a strong opposition.
People like me don't fight for political parties, we fight for issues. Democracy was never meant to turn people into a andhbhakts of political party.
"I Had Never Seen That Much Money": - Rinku Singh 👀🤯
Rinku Singh said 🗣️,
"I used to get money in state cricket. Ranji Trophy, I used to get one lakh rupees. In One Day... yes, the match fees for days were more, 1.5 lakh rupees. For T20s, 17,000 rupees, and for One Day, 35,000 rupees. Back then, it was less, now it has become more.
Actually, Mummy didn't tell me much, but she had kept her jewelry kept. So, that was a tension—to get it back. So, whatever money I got, I used to give it to Mummy. I had a debt of 2.5–3 lakhs, so that was one thing—to clear it. Once the money started coming in, everything started getting better.
I got the most money for the first time when I was picked by Kings XI Punjab in 2017. A 10 lakh rupee contract. All the debts were cleared. Then, when an 80 lakh rupee contract happened... wow! The whole family was watching the auction. I was alone, worried, looking at it. The lights went out and everyone started looking at it on my mobile. 80 lakh rupees—I had never seen that much money in my life.
I mean, when Papa used to come, after doing work, even one or two rupees were so important that I could get a rupee from Papa to eat something. So, I felt that now things can be fine. I can also build a house. Then I got a house built, I got a house with two buildings built. That's when things got better."
One of the biggest mistakes I used to make over and over is believing that people would treat me well based on the fact that I treated them well and life has never and probably will never work like that.
Being alone in a city, miles away from home, is already hard.
But the worst part is having your hardest days spent locked in a room, surrounded by four walls, with no one around to notice you’re not okay.
