@Alex_T_Young I don't agree that these speakers shouldn't be able to present but I do agree that the marketing is incredibly deceptive in suggesting that this is a balanced panel speaking on "human enlightenment". Does the T.W. Lewis Center typically lean to the far right?
@smithcr01@abc15 Particles of the virus are imbedded inside of the water droplets that you exhale... That’s why the masks are helpful. Look at any particle physics sim and you’ll also see that said droplets don’t move in a straight line; They bounce around. I’m tired of having to explain this.
@ComeOnMan2016 @julielance@azfamily Point is that there are no foolproof solutions to this problem; Wearing masks/face shields and keeping distance is the best we’ve got right now to fight against a pandemic-level virus. Hope this all stops sooner rather than later!
@ComeOnMan2016 @julielance@azfamily Mask efficacy isn’t a debate man... Why do you think healthcare professionals wear them? If we’re using the analogy of cigarette smoke getting though, you have to remember that most cigarettes have paper filters in them! Masks are a filter; Not a wall.
@ComeOnMan2016 @julielance@azfamily Hey, better than people roaming around with active symptoms endangering everyone! Hope everyone takes notes from this year and makes mask wearing a standard part of viral illness response going forward.
@Forrestham1962@azfamily Because masks aren’t 100% effective... People still die in car crashes even though they’re wearing a seatbelt; Just makes your chances better.
