@sustom67@clareanneath I didn’t live with my husband before marriage. We’ve been married 7 years, just had a baby in September and everyone else I know who lived together first is either divorced or on the brink. I’m 32, so the older generation excuse doesn’t work.
@mom_of_littles My husband still talks about the paninis I used to make him when we first met lol it’s basically just grilled cheese but I added turkey deli meat. Two slices of Munster cheese, turkey, bacon. Add ranch or mayo and it feels more legit. Trust me.
@GetUnlabeled@babyfeverbabe You mean a party where people willingly and intentionally expose their children to chicken pox so that they have immunity and don’t get it worse as adults later on? I’d love to know what on earth you think that has to do with this scenario.
@nemorolo @babyfeverbabe Found one lol. Which part don’t I understand? The part about how colds/other respiratory illnesses absolutely can still be spread outdoors, especially when there are shared objects involved?
Why do you want to have children?
This is the best answer.
Someday in your thirties or forties,
you will suddenly realize
the best things in life
have already happened.
The rest is just repetition and growing old,
year after year, day after day.
But a child washes away the repetition,
making life unknown once again.
They cause you worry, make you care,
bring you joy, bring you surprise,
and let you experience childhood all over again.
They make you understand your parents' state of mind from back then,
give you an excuse to buy the toys you once yearned for but couldn't have,
make you strong in pain, and calm in a crisis.
They let you see your childhood self,
so that you can better understand and accept yourself.
Parents raise the child,
and the child also accompanies the parents.
Parents and children nourish each other,
and fulfill each other.
In the fleeting time,
the child gives us something to look forward to in the future.
I think, this is the reason for having children.

@aliwithaneyeX@babyfeverbabe He’s 6 months old. He is an infant, and all toddler seats have straps which cause immediate melt downs unfortunately. So now I just carry him on walks 🥲
