Last night my dog Hebe unexpectedly passed away. She was an exceptional dog. Kind and gentle, everyone she met fell in love with her. She was more than a pet, she was a treasured member of my family. I’ve never met another dog like her and I expect I never will. Goodbye Hebe.

@TrashPandaGirll As it’s been said in other comments, what is selfish is largely context based. That being said, the society we live in very much likes to view self care or just taking care of one’s own base needs as selfish. Can’t even call out sick without feeling like we’re being selfish.
