NYSPHSAA announces a decision will be made regarding the spring season on Monday April 27. They are considering extending the season.

Some hope still remains that some semblance of a baseball season will occur although it will be dependent on if/when schools go back in session.

Pirates top Macarthur 3-2 behind a dominating performance out of young buck Tyler O’neill. He went 7 innings, allowed only 2 hits, and struck out 8. Brendan Keane had a big time RBI, while Gianni Macchio reached base twice and scored. Pirates go for the sweep Thursday at home.

Pirates sweep with a 4-2 win over GNS. Marco Baez recorded another win, while Griffin Karp and Billy Kender each went 2-3. Kender also got the save for the Pirates. Next game: Monday home vs MacArthur.

Walk-off winner! Matt Hegi hit a 2 run single with 2 outs in the bottom of the seventh as the Pirates topped GNS, 6-5. Hegs had a day, going 4-5 with a 2B and 3 RBIs. Anthony Paolillo was 2-3 with a BB and scored the game winning run. Pirates go for back to back sweeps Thursday.
