ARVs called to reports of a male in possession of a shotgun, ARVs surrounded the house and called out the male. After a few minutes of waiting the male came out of his house and was taken into custody.

Towards the end of our shift today, we were called to a distressed veteran with PTSD and a live firearm. Our brand new Baton Round Launcher was used for the first time today to detain the male safely after refusing to drop the firearm. #OneTeam #ARV @MerPolCommunity

ARVs were job to job today, assisting @MerPolC_RR and @MerPolC_RPU with multiple incidents from panic buttons to FTS using stop sticks to bring the pursuits to a safe conclusion.

Moped failed to stop for ARVs, Units flooded the area after a decamp and a loss of visual the male was found hiding next to the court! @MerPolCommunity #OneTeam

ARVs deployed to reports of a male in possession of a firearm, also confirmed by CCTV. Male was challenged and taken into custody, on further investigation the male needed to be taken into safeguarding for his own protection. @MerPolCommunity #OneTeam
