@drevanssantiago @doctor2pi I know one way I've used to technology in the classroom is by connecting ideas. For example if we're talking about frogs I show videos and pictures using the internet to connect their ideas of frogs. @Duncannedd@Ststansberry@doctor2pi#CSUBTED#EDTE4200
@Alejand94152687@Ststansberry@doctor2pi@Duncannedd Internet access is a struggle and can be a problem to those who are trying to have access to the internet. One good thing is that most restaurants have free wifi access.
@mike_does_music@Ststansberry@doctor2pi@Duncannedd One problem is students not being able to care for their devices. I think it makes it harder for schools who are trying to make the technology accessible to all students.
@mike_does_music@doctor2pi@DrEddiesClass@teachsci8@Tech_Buddha@Ststansberry@Duncannedd Hey Mike, I believe that it is important to keep things fun in the class. I feel the more we engage with the children the better they will feel during this pandemic, which is why playing game through zoom and using other sources with technology is a great way to engage with kids
It didn't occur to me that not all students have technology in the home. I think that later on when I become an elementary school teacher I will consider this when planning my lessons.
Here's something that I've learned today. I was reading an email from Dr. A & I never thought of technology in the way that he had explained it to me. For instance, he let me know that we shouldn't assume that all students are going to be tech savvy #csubedte#csubedte4200
In our class EDTE 4200 we've been introduced to several types of online platforms. These platforms will help us in the future as we become teachers. I believe that the more knowledge we have about technology, will help us teach more effectively. #csubedte4200#csubted
