@Rahll Follow-up coffee thought: the value of AI to empower those without access to wealth OR skill can open access to techinology. As new paths open to acquire wealth and power, new barriers erect for those unable to afford or adapt to the changes. The key is more paths than barriers.

@Rahll I want to like this quote, but it’s still a hasty generalization of “the purpose” of AI. I offer this: IT break-fix and helpdesk roles are changing from hardware experts to software or platform experts. In the next 10 years, they will become AI consultants and create new skills.

@aitaikimochi This discourse is so weird to me… I’ve absolutely loved the slower pace, “summer break,” focus on cultures, and a break from my WoL so we can focus on Wuk Lamat. I like having the pace slow sometimes! Here’s hoping there’s a balance as I’m in the minority but want SOME slowness!
