@TheGalox_ I mean, they might as well. If you're gonna give it the Ultra name, make it Ultra in every way. You have the wide foldables for people that want an easier to handle device
@techactually Or.....they could keep it at 5.6 mm and increase battery past 3500 mAh, give it a second speaker, and better performance. But no, that would make too much sense I guess. I now understand how the Mini fans felt. It's like Apple kneecaps it's own products for no reason
@zellzoi Considering that the iPad Mini lost 0.9 mm of thickness, yeah that tracks. Though, it's likely not gonna be the thinner than the iPad Pro, probably just as thin I'd imagine
@__sferreira__@TheGalox_ Current ones would just go up in price anyways. If the price is gonna go up, I'd rather just buy the upgraded version with a newer CPU. And in order to do a 2 year gap between devices, all phone makers would have to do that, otherwise you're just shooting your sales in the foot
@tgod34748 Nah. I can see them putting both Face ID and touch ID. Face ID for the front, touch ID if the inner screen is open. Best of both worlds and allows for extra security if need be
@phonefuturist Seems unlikely for them not to be working on it. Apple generally seems to always be working on their products 1-1.5 years before they come out
@TheGalox_ Seems pretty accurate but I'd imagine it would be $100 more and maybe 90 Hz OLED or 120 Hz LCD. But I'd be very happy buying your predicted specs for $799 for the base S12 FE in this tech market. It's at least less compromised than the iPad Air
@tgod34748 Probably $799 but starting with 128 GB of storage. I'd imagine they don't want to completely destroy sales of their iPads, and the Airs are likely gonna drive more sales than the Pros
