#Casteism Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge raised the issue of the caste-based discrimination he faced in Haldwani in the Rajya Sabha.
“I have never asked anyone to protect me because I am a Dalit, nor have I ever begged before anyone. I have the strength to fight, and I fight. But in Haldwani, the stage was ‘purified’ after I addressed the gathering, making me feel the sting of untouchability.”
If caste discrimination can happen to one of the most powerful people in the country, imagine what ordinary Dalits endure every single day.
Yesterday, the Home Minister, @HMOIndia, gave a long speech in Parliament. Here are some of the relevant points for Kuki-Zo people to note:
1. The Home Minister acknowledged the separation. He explicitly stated that Kuki drivers could no longer go to Meitei areas, and Meitei drivers could no longer go to Kuki areas.
2. He acknowledged “Kuki Areas.”
3. He acknowledged that Manipur is fragmented when he referred to Manipur as divided into “Kuki Areas” and “Meitei Areas.”
4. He acknowledged that there is a “Buffer Zone” dividing the “Kuki Areas” and “Meitei Areas.”
All of these statements have been entered into the official records.
These may sound like nothing, but for our movement, these are the little things that will help us argue our case in our long fight for freedom from Meitei rule.

CoTU Decries Selective Crackdown After Tokpa and Kailenjang Arson
The Committee on Tribal Unity condemned the burning of nine houses at Tokpa Naga village on August 12, but slammed security forces for swift action at Keithelmanbi Military Colony while allegedly staying silent after Kailenjang Kuki village was torched on August 10. Kuki women confronted forces, questioning the disparity. CoTU alleged the Kailenjang attack was by NSCN-IM and ZUF-Kamson and urged the Centre and state to ensure equal, impartial justice instead of selective operations.

DAY 13/30 — #30DaysOfVirtualProtest
Today marks Day 13 of our peaceful virtual protest. For 13 continuous days, citizens, victims, displaced families, students, women, and concerned people across the country have raised one voice for justice, truth, accountability, and transparency in the Ex CM Biren Singh audio tape case. Thirteen days have passed, yet the nation still awaits a credible and transparent investigation.
The continued delay in the investigation of the Ex CM Biren Singh audio tape has become a serious question before the conscience of the nation. When allegations involve discussions connected to the Manipur violence of 3rd May 2023 and references to armed groups, state machinery, and security forces, silence and delay only deepen public mistrust. Every passing day without a transparent investigation strengthens the perception that justice is being postponed.
For 13 days, the same questions remain unanswered:
* Why is there no time-bound investigation?
* Why is there no public disclosure of progress?
* Why have the responsible agencies not informed the people about the authenticity, contents, and legal implications of the audio recordings?
* Why this silence when the victims continue to wait?
In a constitutional democracy, accountability cannot depend on political position. The Supreme Court of India, the CBI, the NIA, and all constitutional authorities must ensure that the rule of law prevails over power and influence. If the audio recordings are genuine, the law must take its course without fear or favour. If they are not genuine, the truth must still be established through an independent forensic examination and made public. What is unacceptable is indefinite delay.
After 13 days of peaceful virtual protest, the demand remains unchanged: truth, transparency, and justice. Justice delayed is justice denied. The victims of the Manipur conflict have already waited too long. Hundreds have suffered, thousands remain displaced, and entire communities continue to live in fear and uncertainty. The nation cannot move forward while serious allegations remain unanswered.
We urge the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India to monitor the investigation, direct a credible and impartial inquiry, and ensure that all evidence is examined professionally and independently. Let the truth be heard. Let accountability prevail. Let justice be done openly and without delay.
13 Days. One Voice. For Justice. Let the Truth Be Heard. Let Justice Prevail.

Stand by What’s right
Leadership is tested when doing the right thing is not the easiest thing to do.
Positions change. Circumstances change. Principles must endure.

"🇮🇳is surrounded by Enemies on all sides,🇧🇩🇵🇰🇨🇳&the Enemies of our Enemy is our Friend. The Hegemonic Hindus have transformed🇮🇳into a Capitalist state-perpetuating our exploitation & oppression, which serves as a powerful impetus for our struggle for Independence from its tyranny"
The mother of RG KAR Victim now claims that her daughter was never r@ped but “only k!lled”.
No one is defending the muřder̥ either.
BJP made it a huge issue, she gained sympathy, fought elections, became MLA & Mamata Banerjee lost.
I swear I have so much to say to her. She was your own daughter, how tf did you do this?
The decision to hand over the Kangpokpi ambush investigation to the NIA must not become another delayed process that ends without accountability. We demand impartial, transparent, and time-bound justice for the brutal killing of our pastors and innocent civilians.
The killings of Rev. V. Sithlhou, Pastor Paogoulen, Rev. Kaigoulun, and many other Kuki-Zo civilians have caused deep pain and fear among our people. Their deaths cannot be treated as ordinary incidents. We demand that the NIA thoroughly investigate the role of all armed groups allegedly involved, including NSCN-IM, ZUF (Kamson Group), and any other militant networks, and identify every individual responsible for planning, supporting, or carrying out these attacks.
For more than two years, Kuki villages have faced repeated violence, killings, displacement, intimidation, and destruction. Families continue to live in relief camps while many perpetrators remain free. Justice delayed is justice denied. The people of India deserve to know the truth, and the victims deserve justice under the Constitution of India.
We urge the NIA, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, National Human Rights Commission, and the Supreme Court of India to ensure that this investigation is conducted without political pressure, ethnic bias, or selective treatment. The guilty must be arrested and prosecuted according to law, regardless of their affiliation.
We are not asking for sympathy; we are demanding justice, accountability, and protection of innocent lives. The blood of our pastors and civilians must not be forgotten.

We want Amit Shah in Parliament giving specific statement on police brutality on protestors - we don’t need to hear his general lectures on how Nehru is responsible. And we need debate on Ram Mandir loot.
This one is for every single person who says that reservations should be banned in India.
This is happening in 2026 in a state capital of Uttar Pradesh, where people from upper caste casually pass casteist slurs in normal conversations, questioning promotion of people from lower caste.
As long as there is blatant favouritism within Indian caste system and there is pure disdain towards people from lower caste, RESERVATION is the only protective shield that allows the lower caste community any chance of competing and to hold their head high.
Casteism is rampantly prevalent in every walk of life in India and atrocities on lower caste goes absolutely unchecked.
Respect for the man for standing up against this person for his demeaning attitude.

Even an inch of our land wouldn't be sacrifice, says the people of Khengjoi Sub-division.
They also remind the govt. that the people living in the regions are also an Indian.

Was it really right to make the Prime Minister of India, the world leader, apologize to a 15-year-old girl?
India asks, if this was right, then who will apologize for the mistreatment of girls during the Jantar Mantar protest on July 20th? Should Amit Shah not resign, or should Modi also resign?
