A similar transition had also taken place in Nagaland in 2014, when Mr. Alemtemshi Jamir was succeeded by his wife Banuo Z. Jamir.
Interestingly, both their respected fathers were also chief secretaries of Nagaland one after the other. (Could this be a first ?)

Where is the INC & INDIA Bloc when there has been a rape and murder in the R. G. Kar Medical College and Hospital? Not a single statement against this brutal rape and murder of an innocent doctor!!! Not a single statement against the GoI or the GoWB?!
