Desperate Gimmicks to Foment Conflict
"Eritrea will not be drawn, as ever, into mendacious acrimonies, fully aware as it is, of the moral bankruptcy and underlying ulterior agendas of the whole gimmick"

Chatter around these days is that Special Envoys-cum-“pundits” on the Horn are back in business after a period of hibernation. Pretensions of possessing magic wand to address intractable problems aside, heightened interest is often fraught with complications rather than solutions
NED-funded Addis Standard has apparently ramped up its disinformation campaign against Eritrea particularly in last few weeks.. (see also BBC Focus on Africa). Photo in recycled article from unrelated report on UK dumping its waste in some other country! https://t.co/XNrOIWyGzT
Tumultuous global events in past months have accentuated, more than ever before, acute flows & failings of “rules-based international order”. Anomalies vary from dubbing UNSC Resolution on Gaza cease-fire as “non-binding” to duplicitous interpretation of right of self-defense…
The 18th #YPFDJ Conference in #Europe is underway this weekend in #Italy Padova with more than 600 participants from more than 12 countries in Europe and US discussing how to contribute positively towards -#Eritrea and their host countries
I praise @WRPSToday for their professionalism, dedication to ending violence & threats, & for upholding the right to peaceful gatherings. However, I urge them to reconsider their characterization of violence as "between Eritrean communities," as the perpetrators are from Tigray.
The terrorist group responsible for the recent devastation in #Netherlands receives backing from domestic pseudo-academic institutions, journalists, and certain European politicians

Despite countless videos and testimonies from witnesses, Brigade N’hamedu’s blatant, overt and terrorizing assault on the Eritrean community in Canada has not received the appropriate attention from law enforcement. In this video, the Brigade N’hamedu members in blue shirts begin to tear down and attack onlookers in last year’s Eritrean Festival in Toronto. The tents being destroyed belong to the Eritrean Women’s Association in Canada. Elderly members of the community can be heard asking “where are the police”. Only three Brigade members have been charged in this incident, the rest who can be seen vandalizing the festival remain scot-free. @TPSMyronDemkiw@oliviachow@Safety_Canada
