Our grade 4 students Lenten promise was to make cards for our health care workers. They were delivered to the Health Plex where our amazing health care workers were administering the vaccine. One of our many community Lenten outreach projects happening at St. Angela Merici.
It's a wrap. We are featuring a few of our classes with a virtual Christmas concert. We hope you enjoy and it spreads some Christmas cheer! Many thanks to Mrs. McGlynn for capturing our young musicians.

There are so many kindness activities happening at Merici the last couple of weeks. This student is preparing for her classroom's kindness video. We can't wait to share all of our videos with our Merici families. #CougarStrong#BetterTogether
Thank you to Noelle's Gift for the water bottles donated to our grade 1 students as a way to promote healthy living and drinking more water! #CougarStrong#BetterTogether @SCCDSB
Today, as a school community we observed Remembrance Day with a virtual service. The service was created by Mrs. Ennett and Mrs. Tetrault's students and was a moving and prayerful reminder of our vetrans who serve and who have served in our military.
Cohorting and physical distancing hasn't stopped our teachers from finding creative ways to do the annual "Halloween Costume Parade". #SCCDSB#bettertogether
Mrs. C and Mrs. O's class participated in an "Unlock the Box" challenge delivered to them by Mackenzie the Bat! They had to solve math problems, decode questions and spot clues around the room to eventually find the key and combinations for the box! They did amazing ๐!! #SCCDSB
Today we came together as a St. Angela Merici community with a virtual prayer service. Thank you to the students in Mr. P and Mrs. E's classrooms for leading us in a Thanksgiving prayer service. Our new way of being at school won't stop us from celebrating our faith together!
This weekend our statue of St. Angela Merici was placed on the pedestal where she will be on display in our foyer. What a wonderful gift from the Ursuline Sisters.
Using student voice we are working together to create a community around "what being a St. Angela Merici Cougar means". Check out what our students are creating.
