@LiveNationAU @kendricklamar As thrilled as I am, y’all really should’ve organised this tour at venues that could take more standing capacity because this isn’t a “sit-down” kinda gig.

[Merissa 👩🏾‍🚀 @Merissa98]

@flea333 y’all better play “The Heavy Wing” live 🔥

To understand how much of a legend Taylor Hawkins was, you must understand that Dave Grohl was the undisputed best drummer to come out in the early nineties. Taylor was the first person Dave willingly handed the sticks over to.

[Mike Ryan (Ruiz) @MichaelRyanRuiz]

If you’ve ever seen Taylor Hawkins live you know what he brought. This is an enormous loss for rock music. He had an infectious energy and positivity that was unmatched by modern rock drummers. For 30 years he was the backbone to some of rock’s biggest anthems. Crushing.

[Mike Beauvais @MikeBeauvais]

Here’s Dave Grohl talking about why Taylor Hawkins joined Foo Fighters in 1997.

What a devastating loss. RIP

[FINNEAS @finneas]

So heartbroken to hear about Taylor Hawkins’ passing, what an incredible talent, who didn’t also need to be so kind and generous and cool but was all those things too anyway. The world was so lucky to have his gifts for the time that it did, Rest In Peace

[Stephen Thomas Erlewine @sterlewine]

Taylor Hawkins might’ve been the only drummer alive who could support Dave Grohl and not make you wish Grohl was sitting behind the kit.

When I say ppl are sleeping on the songwriter that he is, this is what I'm talking about
