@FordForkum@Chesschick01 Right, Elon Musk the guy that can tell you how to put a rocket in space, make a car drive itself, is developing tech to help the paralyzed move/the blind see and the deaf hear is ignorant. I think you're projecting.
@nosoup4knowles I know we have the 1st amendment but I believe Elon should have 2 test you need to pass before you can participate on X. One is your baseline "are you a psycho/sociopath or not". The other is an IQ test. 10 to 1 half the liberals will fail the psycho exam.
@WoundedTiger__ You have a right to your own path. To worship or not and to whom you worship or not is every humans right. Stay strong. Be happy and God bless.
@ianmiles Ukraine seems to be doing OK. I never thought they'd last this long. Seems the Bear has lost some teeth. I'm fine with giving Ukraine the means to defend itself but no, we shouldn't fight for them.
@jordanbpeterson@elon Does he"Have a right to influence our politics"? Yes,yes he does. Influence, critique, criticize and support(when possible) covered in the 1st amendment. For a brit to object outside meddling in their politics is like a burglar being pissed at being burgled.
I stopped at Cracker Barrel for breakfast.
This was my first mistake.
I believed the front porch was decoration.
There were rocking chairs.
Many rocking chairs.
Old men rocked in them with the authority of judges who had already ruled.
I nodded. They nodded. The case was closed.
Then I entered what I thought was the restaurant.
It was not the restaurant.
It was a gift shop the size of a moral test.
Candles. Peg games. Fake antiques. A wooden duck that made eye contact.
I came for eggs. The duck knew this and did not care.
Fifteen minutes later I was still in the maze, holding a jar of apple butter I did not remember picking up.
A woman named June appeared like a lighthouse.
"Food's that way, sugar."
I thanked her with the intensity of a man rescued from retail wilderness.
The breakfast was excellent. Biscuits. Gravy. Eggs that understood their job.
I ate like a person who had earned calories through navigation.
On the way out I had to pass the gift shop again.
The duck was waiting.
I bought it.
I will not explain myself.
In the car I set the wooden duck on the passenger seat and said, out loud, "We came for eggs."
The duck said nothing.
It had already won.
America did not trick me.
America invited me onto a porch, through a gift-shop labyrinth, into gravy, and then sold me a bird on the way out.
I am fine.
The duck is fine.
And somehow I am more excited about this country than I was before breakfast.
@elonmusk This stuff is great. I hope it gets easier to use and obtain for those that need it. Buuuut, here me out. Call of Duty at the speed of thought 🤔.
