Taking a break before editing my debut novel but not going without ANY writing practice; I'm writing a #Destiny2 #fanfic.
A new Guardian going on a mission to infiltrate a cult forging dark weaponry. Updating on Wattpad as often as I finish each chapter! https://t.co/hTBYvtULut

[Merlin @Merlin_Da_Druid]

It's not THAT kind of fanfic, by the way! 😅 No romance, cross-overs, or over-powered protagonists. (No hate to those who enjoy/write them, they're just not my thing)

I'll be adding to AO3 too, when I eventually get an account there in case anyone prefers to read from there.

Man, I wish I could edit after posting 😂 54* months. I can write but apparently not count 😅

[Merlin @Merlin_Da_Druid]

66 months later, draft 1 is complete at 334 pages. I'll probably get #writing on something else for a while before getting into the first round of edits...

I've PLENTY of notes already on changes I need/want to make 😅 Not sure how many even remember, but I wanted to share

[Merlin @Merlin_Da_Druid]

@Gavriella_DotCo There's a lot of fantastic artists out there, so I won't promise anything yet 😅 Do you have a link to where I can see your whole portfolio?

I've picked up #writing again. I'll be using my last story as a learning experience, rather than continuing. I've gotten a prologue done for this idea, here's the link if anyone wants to read: https://t.co/dbzyyoUAmW

[Merlin @Merlin_Da_Druid]

@V1K1NGM4N I haven't sorted out a blurb just yet, but it's high fantasy about 2 brothers who are sent on a quest to stop the prince from murdering the king. Set in a kingdom shut off from the rest of the world. There's magic, swords, battle, betrayal, moments of stealth, and shadow demons

[Merlin @Merlin_Da_Druid]

@_aenlighten @Capn_Happy The plan rn is to release free digitally for a weekend, and then I want to pick a few from reviews posted within the first month and offer to send them a free signed physical copy (for the peanuts it'd be worth anyway 😂)

[Merlin @Merlin_Da_Druid]

@Capn_Happy I'll probably do at least 2 rounds of edits before finding a pro editor & cover artist so I'd say EARLIEST would be 6 months (unlikely). That said, I don't want there to be a long wait between this and the next (only one sequel planned for THIS story) so probably longer 😕

It's Cody's first birthday today! ☺️

Helldivers fans -- we’ve heard your feedback on the Helldivers 2 account linking update. The May 6 update, which would have required Steam and PlayStation Network account linking for new players and for current players beginning May 30, will not be moving forward.

We’re still learning what is best for PC players and your feedback has been invaluable. Thanks again for your continued support of Helldivers 2 and we’ll keep you updated on future plans.
