@gaye_gallops So this is not all on insurance. The MRI cost was because that is what the provider demanded when negotiating with insurance. The costs her on the premium sounds high. The system needs to be fixed but there are multiple issues.

@DefiantLs Thank the Obama. Insurance takes the rap but hospitals are layered in ineffective administration, and are pushing insurers to pay more year over year. The health systems are not under enough scrutiny here. Yes, insurers could lower margins but hospitals have lost their mission.

@MamdaniWatch The worst landlord in NYC is NYCHA. That’s city owned and run. How about they look inwards first. I agree these slumlords all have to be held accountable, NYC included.
