This was my late Mumma's beloved Rose Garden back in late spring/early summer, which I have lovingly tended since I lost her in Septmeber 2024. She would have loved to see (and smell) all the beautiful blooms and sit in garden with a glass of wine. I miss you. 🥀🌹#RoseWednesday
In the Budget HMRC will be granted powers to seize money directly from the bank accounts of people who fail to pay their taxes.
Does this include people like Nadhim Zahawi, Lord Bamford and all the other massive tax avoiders.
Or is it just for the little people as usual?
Whatever the outcome of this high profile trial, judges in future will have to take a harder line on defendants using social media channels to influence public opinion in this way
Aberfan. Hillsborough. NHS tainted blood scandal. Grenfell. The Post Office. Covid. PPI. Every time denial of responsibility & lies compound the horror. Aberfan told they had to help pay from their fund to make the slag heaps safe. No justice, no-one arrested or charged in any.
This man and his lackey Hancock have been found guilty of killing thousands of older people living in care homes and lying to the public time and again.
They should be arrested, prosecuted and imprisoned posthaste.
60 Years ago today, one of the greatest disasters in the history of Wales. 144 lives lost, 116 of them children. Aberafan - always in our thoughts! Never again! 🏴
Worth noting that while Johnson and Hancock deservedly get much of the flak for this deadly failure, the minister who failed to protect the care sector was Helen Whately - who is now the Tory shadow minister pushing draconian benefit reforms
Matt Hancock tried to blame care home staff for bringing covid into care homes. What a lying bastard. Lock him up.

Trump engaged in a thoughtful, extended conversation with—nothingness. He suddenly stopped, waved, saluted, offered greetings, and chatted for a bit with the empty space. 😁🤭
The cameraman deliberately zoomed out to show that there was absolutely no one to be seen for hundreds of meters in any direction.
Apparently, Trump received a visit from the very same "invisible person"—the kind of encounter he had previously mocked Joe Biden for supposedly having.

60 years ago today, 144 lives were lost at #Aberfan , including 116 children. For many in South Wales, the tragedy remains deeply personal.
This clock stopped at 9:13 am, a haunting reminder of that terrible morning.
At 9:15, we pause to remember.
Cofiwch Aberfan.

He is staring to physically resemble someone in the depths of a serious cocaine addiction. Tweaking and dancing about in broad daylight is one thing, doing it on the day you’re in court is another.
2020: Matt Hancock, "Right from the start we've tried to throw a protective ring around our care homes"
2026: Baroness Hallett, "The claim that a so called protective ring has be thrown around care homes right from the start was unfounded. Quite the opposite is true. The adult social care sector as a whole, appeared to be something of an after thought"
My view:
Matt Hancock said the government had tried to throw a “protective ring” around care homes. He repeated the claim in Parliament. Nadhim Zahawi later publicly backed it, while Boris Johnson defended the government’s handling when challenged. Now Baroness Hallett’s inquiry has rejected the claim as unfounded: care homes were not protected from the start; adult social care was treated as an afterthought.
This was more than a failure of words. Patients were discharged from hospitals into care homes without routine testing, and care homes were not advised to isolate those arrivals. Staff faced shortages of PPE and testing, while residents and families bore the consequences. The inquiry describes a system that failed to plan for the risks and failed to put care homes at the centre of its response.
What we saw was a collective failure—a collaboration of incompetence at the expense of life. The phrase “protective ring” offered reassurance while the protections people needed were missing. Thousands of families were left grieving, and care workers were left trying to cope with the consequences. Those responsible should face the findings honestly, explain how this happened and make sure the lessons lead to change.
But the question remains, why is there almost no accountability for the actions government ministers took during covid?

I’m waiting for the day when someone punches this motherfucker in the face, spits on him after he goes down and finishes it off with a swift kick to the groin… Sorry, I get carried away sometimes. What I meant to say is I hate this motherfucker so much.
