We are deeply troubled by news of a shipwreck in the Central Med. #OceanViking reported to have rescued 25 people who left Zawya, Libya a week ago with approximately 60 more still missing.

Saddened by another tragic incident off the coast of #BenGuerdane 🇹🇳 last Friday of a boat departing from 🇱🇾, 10 pm on Thu. 24 #migrants rescued. 5 confirmed dead & 5 others missing.

@UNmigration is providing emergency aid to the rescued & transferred 8 persons to IOM shelters.
