Facts are in UN #Ethiopia’s own internal communications, documents and external enquiry which lays bare the egregious failure of many of its employees and systems that failed to do their duty and covered up or delayed responding to #Tigray genocide under pressure from Addis govt
Here's one such fascist, Wondimu Kassahun Zegeye, who was exposed. His harassment was under the account @GraceHoneyPot (now suspended). This rabidly misogynistic fascist used the photo of a woman who had no idea what he was doing, as his profile photo🧵

This article is a must read for people who want to learn more about #TigrayGenocide and how the so called “anti imperialists” in the US were some of the main cheerleaders. 👇
“It is one of the bloodiest and deadliest conflicts we have seen in the last 30 years”
@PRIOresearch on the war in #Tigray, which has killed an estimated 600,000 - 800,000 people.

Yep. Welcome to the targeted vile harassment campaigns. All they do is prove all of us right.
Thank you for tour tireless work to bring these women’s horrific stories to light.
#Ethiopia: Women Press Freedom stands with @XimenaBorrazas and condemns the cowardly violence and harassment she's facing online for her vital work in #Tigray. Journalists must be protected, not persecuted, for reporting.
We reiterate our calls on @TwitterComms to remove harmful content and implement stricter controls to prevent abuse.
Hayla (name changed at the victim’s request) is 21 years old and was born in a village near Adwa.
During the war she was intercepted at her home by 10 Eritrean soldiers and kidnapped for four days at their military base. ⬇️

Again, see how they’re harassing & trying to silence a photo journalist determined to tell the stories of victims of the worst of #TigrayGenocide.
A society that cheers for this, denies it, & is so filled with hate that it can’t even empathize with humans, is a truly sick one.
Delighted to present @NewlinesInst definitive report on breaches of the #Genocide Convention in #TigrayWar, and paths to accountability to the Canadian Parliament. See full report here:

This report by @NewlinesInst is a compelling assembly of facts and a knowledge archive for posterity. The genocide on #Tigray is such that even the best of us only know half of the story, not just what took place in those two brutal years but also what continued to take place today.
The seamless reorganization and flow of information backed by irrefutable evidences in this report should therefore be a powerful means that will transform our scattered understanding of the #Tigraygenocide into an inescapable experience, and should help bring us face-to-face with the truth.
On the other hand, the report is a painful reminder that Genocide determination has always been influenced more by political expediency than strictly by human rights and international laws. Tigray's case laid bare that critique when the State Department decided to shelve its determination in favor of political manoeuvring.
Many of us knew that when that decision was taken, it meant the road to justice for every victim was being deliberately made impossible.
I sincerely hope this report will help that arduous journey take a major leap forward.

"While several other reports have reached similar conclusions concerning some of the key factual allegations, the New Lines Institute report is the first to relate these allegations directly to the Genocide Convention & to call for action accordingly"

A report by the New Lines Institute says Ethiopia and its allies had ‘intent to destroy Tigrayans as an ethnic group’ and calls for Ethiopia to face persecution at the International Court of Justice https://t.co/ot3jsszDJI
Human rights experts gather at the Parliament of Canada to highlight genocide in Tigray, demand global action to protect civilians @DrTedros https://t.co/ca3caUDvWN
Congratulations & thanks to @NewlinesInst for meticulously investigating the war on #Tigray. The conclusion that #genocide was perpetrated against Tigrayans by forces from #Ethiopia, #Eritrea, & #Amhara is accurate & timely. We still demand accountability. https://t.co/cND6fdCcdj
“we can no longer allow this tragedy to remain in the shadows. It is now time to take a stand. It is time to recognize the atrocities that have been committed and it is time that decisive action to ensure justice for the victims of genocide in Tigray is delivered soon”

The worst kept secret is out: Strong evidence #Ethiopia committed genocide in #Tigray war:. But of course no accountability - means that crimes against humanity will recur as they are in #Darfur#Sudan which experienced same impunity Report https://t.co/JAgbI5x5Zv via @AJEnglish
